TRS Mechanical is a Tridium AX and Niagara 4 Certified Solution Provider with more than 12 years of experience installing and servicing Tridium and other building automation systems for commercial HVAC across the Puget Sound region. Niagara 4 builds on the proven Niagara Framework® and introduces major enhancements that make it faster, more efficient, and less dependent on browser plug-ins. As an open framework, Niagara 4 helps businesses fully leverage the Internet of Things through advanced visualization, search, security, and navigation tools.
This next-generation platform supports rapid development and deployment of real-time applications that connect people, machines, and data. Key capabilities include:

EASY CONVERSION TO NIAGARA 4
Tridium has invested significant effort in making the transition from Niagara AX to Niagara 4 as smooth as possible. The native Niagara Fox protocol provides wire compatibility between the two software platforms, and Niagara 4 supports all currently available JACE controllers. For customers upgrading to Niagara 4, Tridium offers a station conversion tool that adapts Niagara AX stations by creating the appropriate objects and properties, configuring alarms and events, and setting up parameter files.
In addition to its powerful, user-friendly design, Niagara 4 is backed by Tridium’s technical resources and support network. If issues arise during or after a migration, the TRS Mechanical team and Tridium’s support partners are ready to help you troubleshoot and complete a successful conversion.
INDOOR AIR QUALITY
Managing indoor air quality is straightforward with a Tridium Niagara–based system. Any type of facility, from offices to hospitals and schools, can benefit from cleaner air, fewer occupant complaints, greater comfort, and lower energy use.
Tridium systems use field sensors to monitor carbon dioxide, temperature, humidity, and other conditions in real time. The Niagara framework then adjusts ventilation and airflow to deliver the right amount of fresh air to each space, a proven demand-controlled ventilation strategy that improves both indoor air quality and efficiency.
The same platform can coordinate HVAC and lighting systems so building owners can automatically turn off lights, setback temperatures, and reduce ventilation in unoccupied areas. This integrated approach supports a healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable indoor environment across the entire building.
